SearchNReplace

This is a program to perform a "search and replace" function on an entire directory.

You'll need Java 1.4.2 run time environment installed before you can run this program. You can get Java from Sun at:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html

(Download the "JRE" unless you plan to develop Java software yourself).

What does this do? Our program allows you to quickly search and replace a text string in every file in a single directory.

Usage:

• Double click on SearchNReplace.jar to run it.
• Enter the string you wish to search for.
• Enter the string you wish to replace it with
• Select the type of file you wish to process.
• Click "Process a Directory" and select the directory you wish to process.

Features:

• Fast text Search and Replace of every designated file in the selected directory
