Something to Consider
Anon or not Anon? What does turning Anon on do for you? It gets lots of people asking where you are and what level you are! In my opinion it interferes with the comradery of the guild. We've found that with Anon on when you do a /who all starfire the anon person does NOT list. Which causes me trouble, I've used Starfire to extend my friends list. So as people join Starfire I take them off my friends list (making room for more friends). If you have Anon on then you don't show up when I check who is online.
Grouping
Grouping is the heart of Everquest. Without grouping why would you play? Unfortunately Verant has made the experience system very poor for encouraging grouping. Between levels 10 and 20 players that are more than five levels below the highest character will get no experience. For all practical purposes a group should have no more than two levels from lowest to highest (ie 13th to 15th). Unfortunately that can really hurt the comradery of our guild. So I ask you, if you are one of the higher level characters slow down your advancement (do some quests, start another character, help one of the lower level characters) and help keep the groupings close in level.
Or if you are the more independent type go ahead and race your character ahead as fast as possible but start up a second character to catch up with the others and play with them. The "independent" characters can take on the "wise old wizard" / advisor role showing the others around some of the more dangerous places.
