Roleplaying on Bristlebane
Forces of Light vs Forces of Darkness
We have created three "guilds" to allow ongoing roleplaying and conflict in Norrath on Bristlebane (other servers have contacted me and are attempting to duplicate our concept).
"Starfire", "Forces of Light" and "Forces of Darkness" guilds have been created for roleplay purposes. These are for those wishing to participate in ongoing roleplaying and to allow events to span more than one guild vs another guild. Players may freely come and go between these guilds and their own guilds as they wish to participate in the greater events. Note: these guilds will occasionally be at "guildwar" with each other, thus if you join either side you will be at risk of being attacked by the other side (though note rules on honourable conduct below). To join these guilds contact Balar, Morkano, Kyrisis, Safka, Katlinel or any player that is currently in either guild. You are very welcome to bounce back and forth between these guilds and your normal guild regularly.
Starfire is a more restricted guild (few will be allowed to join) and is dedicated to being a neutral party to help monitor Light vs Darkness events. Members of Starfire will commonly adventure with either Light or Darkness members. Members of Starfire can almost always be counted on to lend a helping hand.
We are now in the process of developing an ongoing campaign plot for those players who wish to remain in both guilds all of the time. Of course combat can only occur during a state of guildwar, though duels and the PvP arenas can be used at any time to resolve conflict. Guildwar will typically be turned on only for events. Events currently take place on alternate Sundays, usually starting at 2pm Central. This allows for the widest possible range of players to participate. Smaller, adhoc mini events take place at other times and may be initiated by anyone.
