Guild Leadership and Structure
I'm envisioning a very simple guild structure. The "High Council"
will consist of:
-
Guild Master - presiding officer to coordinate the guild officers and leaders
-
Two Guild Officers - able to actually implement invites and removes of
players from the guild in the game.
-
Four Guild Leaders
Any important guild matter should be submitted to the guild master (probably
via e-mail), notice will then be sent to all members of the high council
and a vote held after everyone has responded or three days (whichever comes
first). If anyone doesn't respond and a vote is held, then a motion
can not be passed without 71% agreement of the available
guild officers. This works out to 3 out of 4; 4 out of 5; 5 out of 6; or
5 out of 7. Effectively this means that at least three of
us must be in favor of any decision and no more than two can be opposed
for a decision to be passed.
I (Balar/Dismey) can serve as the initial guild master with Noet and
Dcybele as officers; with Leldin, Hakan, Alnar and Boramur as leaders.
My intent is to serve as a moderating guild master surrounded by vocal
and active leaders.
Thelvyner and Klaine have both volunteered to be members of the High
Council. I consider both to be extremely valuable members of the
guild and we have asked them to sit in on High Council meetings as non-voting
members to share their opinions and add to the discussion.
