SITE O is an international organization of people - (from very diverse locations and backgrounds) - who share an interest in the history of Fortification and / or Artillery. Our aim, through Membership, - is to bring together fellow researchers and enthusiasts - via the "World Wide Web". We are also advocates for the conservation, preservation and restoration of historic sites and equipment. To these ends, - we operate an International Web Site and a number of Regional Web Sites around the World. Members also receive a monthly e-mail newsletter from our Founder - and International Director, Joe Kaufmann. Our Sites are also "portals" to other Web Sites and organizations - that are likewise concerned with the history of Castles, Fortifications and/or Artillery. We warmly welcome new Members, - and casual visitors to our Sites, - alike! |
